Stefano Mauri will miss both of S.S. Lazio's UEFA Champions League Group C fixtures against Werder Bremen after being ruled out for a month with a left thigh injury.

Midfielder Stefano Mauri will miss both of S.S. Lazio's UEFA Champions League Group C fixtures against Werder Bremen after being ruled out for a month with a left thigh injury.

Twin bill
The 27-year-old Italian international suffered the problem during his side's 1-0 Serie A win at AS Livorno Calcio on Sunday and underwent a series of tests today. Lazio visit Bremen for Wednesday's Matchday 3 encounter before welcoming them to Rome on 6 November. Delio Rossi's team have two points from as many group-stage games.
