Surgical solution
Wilson travelled to the United States earlier this week to consult a specialist on a persistent knee problem and underwent an operation at a clinic in Colorado yesterday which will keep him out of action for up to ten weeks. Doumbé who replaced Wilson for the 2-1 UEFA Champions League victory over holders AC Milan on Wednesday picked up an achilles injury in the final minutes of the match at Celtic Park.
