Article body
Champions FK Crvena Zvezda have decided to replace coach Boško Djurovski with Milorad Kosanović on the eve of the new Serbian season.
Disappointing display
Djurovski only took over in March after Dušan Bajević's resignation and successfully led 'Red Star' to first place in the inaugural Serbian Superliga. However, the board were not happy with the team's performance in their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against FC Levadia Tallinn, as Crvena Zvezda went through on away goals to meet Rangers FC for a place in the group stage.
Second coming
Kosanović, 56, previously coached Crvena Zvezda from December 1997 to June 1999, and has also been in charge of Malta, FK Vojvodina, Chinese club Dalian Shide and the Serbia Under-21s. He begins his second Crvena Zvezda reign on Saturday at home to FK Čukarički. The Belgrade side then visit Rangers on 14 August.
