Promising custodian
Born in Kinshasa, the capital of DR Congo, Mandanda is a French Under-21 international and has appeared in 67 league games for Le Havre over the last two seasons, but has yet to make his debut in the French top flight. He will meet up with his new team-mates at their pre-season training base at Divonnes-les-Bains. Cédric Carrasso is likely to be the club's first-choice goalkeeper as they start their Ligue 1 campaign on 4 August. The UEFA Champions League group-stage contenders have already signed Djibril Cissé, Boudewijn Zenden, Gaël Givet and Karim Ziani this summer.
