Dida extends AC Milan stay

AC Milan's Brazilian goalkeeper Dida has ended speculation about his future by extending his contract with the Rossoneri by three years until 2010.

Expiring deal
The Brazilian international’s current deal was due to end this summer but he has agreed to commit to the Italian club for a further three years. Dida, 33, enjoyed spells at EC Vitória, Cruzeiro EC, FC Lugano and SC Corinthians Paulista before moving to Italy. He won the UEFA Champions League and the Coppa Italia with Milan in 2003 and the Scudetto the following year. This season, he has played 17 games in Serie A and six during a UEFA Champions League campaign which continues against FC Bayern München in the quarter-finals next month.
