Success story
The 28-year-old joined Porto from UD Leiria at the start of the 2005/06 campaign and subsequently made the No1 shirt his own, replacing club legend Vítor Baía. After making eleven appearances last season as Porto won the title, the former CR Vasco da Gama custodian has been ever-present in both the Liga and the UEFA Champions League this term. His progress has been noted by Brazil coach Dunga, who awarded Helton his international debut on 15 November against Switzerland.
