Experienced No2 goalkeeper Grégory Malicki has had his contract with UEFA Champions League challengers LOSC Lille Métropole extended by two years till 2009.

No2 goalkeeper Grégory Malicki has had his contract with UEFA Champions League challengers LOSC Lille Métropole extended by two years until June 2009.

Historic win
The 33-year-old, who kept goal as Lille won 2-0 at AC Milan in early December to reach the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League for the first time, said: "I joined Lille in the 2001/02 season and I hope to have many more great moments and that the team keeps growing." Les Dogues meet Manchester United FC in the last 16 next month.
