Larsson in frame as Saha sidelined

Louis Saha has been forced out for Manchester United FC after he suffered a groin injury, opening the door for the club's new striking recruit Henrik Larsson.

Louis Saha could be out for a fortnight after suffering a groin injury during Manchester United FC's 2-2 draw with Newcastle United FC yesterday.

Larsson loan
The 28-year-old France striker was forced off after half an hour of the Premiership encounter at St James' Park and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed: "It's a groin injury, so it could be a couple of weeks. But who knows?" Ole Gunnar Solskjær is likely to replace the Frenchman but Sir Alex can also call on Henrik Larsson, following the Swedish veteran's three-month loan move from Helsingborgs IF.
