AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini will miss the Italian side's visit to LOSC Lille Métropole in UEFA Champions League Group H on Tuesday after injuring his right thigh in the early stages of Saturday night's 0-0 Serie A draw at AS Livorno Calcio.

The 38-year-old defender will undergo tests to determine the full extent of the problem. Maldini, who has played three league games this season and 90 minutes against AEK Athens FC on UEFA Champions League Matchday 1, limped off after only five minutes of the Livorno match.
