Article body
Hamburger SV came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw at CA Osasuna which earned the Bundesliga side an away-goals victory in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round and a place in the group stage.
Cuéllar opener
Primera División contenders Osasuna, who held Hamburg 0-0 in Germany two weeks ago, looked on the verge of the competition proper after Javier Cuéllar put them in front six minutes into the second leg. The defender squeezed a header past keeper Sascha Kirschstein at the far post after meeting an outswinging corner by David López.
Webo chance
The Navarre club held their lead until 16 minutes from the end when midfielder Nigel de Jong bundled in the ball at the far post after Benjamin Lauth had sent a diving header across goal following a free-kick. Osasuna poured forward for the remainder of the match, but spurned a late chance to snatch victory when substitute Pierre Webó guided a close-range header over the bar in the last minute.
