Article body
A second 2-0 win against FC Sioni Bolnisi, this time in Tbilisi, helped Bulgarian champions PFC Levski Sofia earn a UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against AC Chievo Verona.
Domovchiyski goal
The match started with both sides looking evenly matched, but the Georgian champions were a goal behind after 18 minutes as Valeri Domovchiyski received a long pass before beating Sioni goalkeeper Zurab Batiashvili to put Levski 3-0 up on aggregate.
That goal sparked a Sioni fight-back and Levski goalkeeper Georgi Petkov had to be alert to deny efforts from Levani Bajelidze and Vladimir Ugrekhelidze. Nonetheless, Levski should have added to their tally as French midfielder Cédric Bardon went one-on-one with Batiashvili after 44 minutes.
Red card
Sioni's slender hopes of salvaging something were all but extinguished as Archil Alavidze was dismissed for a second bookable offence after 65 minutes, and from then on it was a matter of when rather than whether Levski would press their advantage. However, as it was, they were to score only once more as substitute Emil Angelov found the target from seven metres in the closing minutes.
