Instant success
The pair have been crucial in taking the club to the verge of the UEFA Champions League after first helping Levski win the Bulgarian title and then playing their part in a 2-0 victory against AC Chievo Verona of Italy in last week's third qualifying round first leg. Frenchman Bardon, 29, joined Levski last season from Le Havre AC in his homeland and went on to claim seven goals in 20 league games.
Baltanov secured
Telkiyski, a 29-year-old Bulgarian international who arrived at the club in 1999 from PFC Botev Plovdiv, is likely to have a vital role in the national side's UEFA EURO 2008™ campaign. He replicated his 2004/05 record last term by scoring eleven goals in 26 league matches. Finally, teenage striker Lachezar Baltanov has also committed his future to Levski, signing his first professional deal. The 18-year-old will stay at the Vassil Levski stadium for three seasons.
