Ricardo alone
With former Manchester United FC shot-stopper Ricardo López the established No1, the 24-year-old Panamanian international Penedo was expected to cover for the suspended Juantxo Elía Vallejo on the bench. Elía Vallejo was sent off in the first leg of Osasuna's UEFA Cup first-round defeat last season and still has a ban to serve. Coach Cuco Ziganda will have to consider what to do in the absence of both deputies before Osasuna's first-leg on 8/9 August.
