Eight goals
The 25-year-old had spent two seasons with the Ligue 1 side after joining them prior to the 2003/04 campaign from Belgian club R. Charleroi FC. Eduardo scored eight goals in 57 top-flight games in France and Basel will hope his firepower can help them in this month’s UEFA Champions League third qualifying round match tie with Werder Bremen.
