Van Nistelrooij out of Dinamo duel

'Sportsman's hernia'
"Ruud van Nistelrooij has suffered a sportsman's hernia. He will be out for up to four weeks," said a spokeswoman on United's official website. The 28-year-old will therefore sit out both legs against Dinamo on 11 and 24 August as well as Premiership encounters against Chelsea FC, Norwich City FC, Blackburn Rovers FC and Everton FC.

Bolton return
United, who play Arsenal FC in the FA Community Shield this Sunday, hope he will return to action for the league game against Bolton Wanderers FC on 11 September. Van Nistelrooij scored four goals in five appearances for the Netherlands at UEFA EURO 2004™.
