Brighi, 23, had just moved to Roma as part of the deal which took Brazilian midfield player Émerson da Rosa to Juventus FC. The former Italy Under-21 international has also played with Bologna FC, Parma and Brescia Calcio during his Serie A career.
Olympic winner
Bovo, 21, had returned to Roma after playing two seasons on loan at US Lecce. The Under-21 international is currently representing Italy at the Olympics and helped his side reach the semi-finals, scoring the winning goal against Mali with just four minutes of extra time remaining.
