RC Deportivo La Coruña have unveiled new signings Rubén Castro and Jerónimo Figueroa 'Momo', who have both joined the Spanish UEFA Champions League participants from UD Las Palmas.
Shining star
The 23-year-old Rubén finished last season as the leading goalscorer in the Segunda División, but his tally of 22 was not enough to prevent the islanders from suffering relegation. He has repsrented Spain at variuous youth levels and has signed a seven-year contract with Deportivo.
Youth-team graduate
Midfield player Momo, a product of Las Palmas' prestigious youth academy, made 34 appearances and scored three goals last season. The 21-year-old has agreed to a five-year stay at the Riazor.
