Hamstring problem
The 24-year-old was hurt in Saturday's 2-1 league defeat by Olympique de Marseille and tests today confirmed a hamstring injury. Lyon estimate that the French international will be out for at least a week, meaning his absence for the Porto match at the Gerland stadium, where the French champions will be hoping to overturn a 2-0 deficit.
Delmotte back
There was one piece of good news for Lyon coach Paul Le Guen after he was able to call defensive midfield player Christophe Delmotte back into the first-team squad. Delmotte, 34, has not played this season due to a persistent heel injury but is finally fit again.
