Cúper lure takes Kily to Inter

Internazionale FC coach Héctor Cúper has completed the signing of former Valencia CF winger Kily González.

Three-year deal
The left-sided player, who starred in the Valencia team that Cúper led to successive UEFA Champions League finals in 2000 and 2001, has agreed a three-year contract with the Nerazzurri with the option of a further season at the San Siro.

Major factor
The move comes days after 29-year-old Kily cancelled his contract at the Mestalla by mutual consent. Besides the draw of Champions League football, the player insisted the opportunity of working with Cúper again had been a major factor in his decision to switch to Serie A.

'Trust important'
"For me, it's important to have the trust of my coach," Kily said. "I had a great relationship with Cúper during the two years we worked together and I'm glad to be joining such a great club. I didn't play much last year because I had a serious injury but my physical condition has improved and I'm ready to play."
