Five-year contract
Centurión, 20, has signed a five-year contract after leaving his Buenos Aires-based club, and Friday marks his first day of training with last season's German league runners-up. It is not clear whether he will play against FC Hansa Rostock on Saturday in Stuttgart's opening 2003/04 Bundesliga match, but coach Felix Magath said: "When the Champions League starts, Emanuel will help us."
Defenders return
Magath is also able to welcome back to training injured defenders Marcelo Bordon and Zvonimir Soldo. Bordon is set to face Rostock despite a groin complaint, while Soldo is struggling with a calf problem.
