PFC CSKA Moskva have confirmed they have signed the highly gifted Croatian international striker Ivica Olic from NK Dinamo Zagreb.
Four-year contract
Olic has reportedly signed a four-year contract in a deal said to be worth €5m, which would break the Russian record CSKA themselves set last winter by paying AC Sparta Praha €3.7m for midfield player Jirí Jarošik.
International career
The 24-year-old has been among the leading scorers in Croatia for the past two campaigns, registering 21 goals in 2001/02 and 16 last season. Since making his debut for Croatia in February 2002, Olic has won eleven caps, scoring three goals, including one against Italy in a 2-1 win at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

CSKA, who finished runners-up in Russia last season, face FK Vardar of F.Y.R. Macedonia in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League qualifying round on Wednesday.
