Three-year deal
Bogdanovic, 23, has put pen to paper on a three-year contract and will be available for Sliema's UEFA Champions League first qualifying round tie against Latvian side FC Skonto later this month.
Looking ahead
The Maltese international joined Cherno More in January this year, but the Bulgarian club's financial problems prompted his early return to the Premier League. He previously played for Sliema during the 2000/01 campaign. "I am confident my second spell with Sliema will be a more positive experience than the first," the Serbian-born player said. "I am looking forward to playing in the Champions League."
Summer signings
Bogdanovic becomes Sliema's fourth summer buy. The club have recruited striker Jamie Pace and defender Lee Lombardi from Pietà Hotspurs FC as well as the former Gozo FC midfield player Dybrill Sylla. However, they have allowed midfield player David Camilleri to move to Marsaxlokk FC on a one-year loan, and extended defender Pierre Grima's loan with the same club by another season.
