FC Barcelona midfield player Luis Enrique will miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen after tearing a muscle in his left leg.
Brief appearance
Luis Enrique, who has just returned from a four-month injury lay-off, sustained the injury within nine minutes of coming on as a substitute in the second half of his side's 1-1 draw against Real Valladolid on Saturday.
Tests in store
The club said the Barcelona captain would undergo tests on Monday to determine the exact extent of the injury. The former Spanish international joins defender Carlos Puyol, Dutch midfielder Phillip Cocu and striker Dani García on the club's lengthening injury list.
