RC Deportivo La Coruña have been dealt a blow after Portuguese defender Jorge Andrade was ruled out for two months.
Broken bone
Andrade, who only joined Deportivo from FC Porto in the summer, broke a bone in his foot in Sunday's 4-2 defeat by Real Betis Balompié. He is likely to miss most of the the UEFA Champions League first group stage as well as Portugal's friendly against England on Saturday.
'Very sad'
"It is a very sad moment for me," said Andrade. "We lost and now I have got injured, but I will just have to do my best to recover as quickly as possible."
Serious setback
Deportivo coach Javier Irureta said the injury was a serious setback for his side who now face tough matches against FC Bayern München, Milan AC and RC Lens in Group D of the Champions League without their key defender.
