AC Sparta Praha coach warmed up for their return to domestic and UEFA Champions League action with a goalless draw against Swiss outfit Servette FC.
Game in Spain
The Czech 1. liga leaders lined up the game whilst at a training camp in Spain, and coach Jaroslav Hrebík watched his players dominate the match despite failing to find the net. "I am satisfied with our play," he said. "That is the most important thing right now.
'Dominated the game'
"We were the much better team and dominated the game but were unable to convert many good chances. Our opponents did not create a scoring chance, despite the fact we rested many of our first-team players. It is a pity we could not convert from our four big openings," added the coach.
Madrid top
Sparta resume their quest for progression to the last eight of the Champions League when they welcome Panathinaikos FC to the Czech capital on 19 February. Hrebík's side are second in Group C, three points behind leaders Real Madrid CF after two games.
