Lineup complete for eighth UEFA Regions' Cup

Hosts Veneto, Eastern Region of Northern Ireland, Isloch, Keleti Régió, Olimp Moscow, Qarachala, Selección Catalana and Yugoiztochen Region will compete from 22 to 29 June.

The lineup for the UEFA Regions' Cup final tournament in Veneto, Italy, is complete, with Azerbaijani side Qarachala joining the hosts and six other top amateur teams in the draw in Abano Terme on 9 May, which will be streamed live on UEFA.com at 12.00CET.

Qarachala won through the final intermediary round tournament in Lithuania, confirming their progress on Friday afternoon with a 2-1 win against 2011 finals contenders Belgrade. They will now compete for the biggest prize in amateur football at the eighth UEFA Regions' Cup, which takes place in the Veneto region of Italy from 22–29 June.

The final tournament represents a unique opportunity for amateur players to perform in a professional environment, with excellent pitches, top-level referees and superb facilities. "I have been involved for over ten years and I believe the Regions' Cup is one of the most important competitions that UEFA runs," said UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee chairman Jim Boyce. "I have been fortunate to go to several recent Regions' Cup tournaments, and the camaraderie and spirit is something that remains with the players for a long time."
