The draw for the qualifying stages of the 8th UEFA Regions' Cup will take place live on UEFA.com on Monday 5 March from 14.30CET.

The final tournament, which will be played in the summer of 2013, brings together the best amateur selections in Europe, with 37 UEFA national associations set to be involved in the competition. The action will begin with two four-team preliminary mini-tournaments, with the winners and the best runner-up from those sections (three teams in total) joining 29 other sides in the intermediary round. This will be contested as eight four-team mini-tournaments, with the winners of each booking a place in the finals, to be hosted by one of the successful qualifiers.

As hosts, Braga won the last edition of the competition in the summer of 2011, beating Irish side Leinster & Munster in the final. Jim Boyce, a member of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Committee, said: "There are more people playing amateur football than professional football, and football brings people together regardless of race, class or creed."
