TICINO AMA (SUI) 1-2 DOLNOSLASKI AMA (POL)
Fabrizio Vavassori, Ticino coach
I do not think we deserved to lose in this way. We had a great chance just before Dolnoslaski's late winner. But that is football. You may win or lose in the space of several seconds. The players reacted instinctively in the last seconds. I did not told them to play defensively. We tried to win the game to be sure of the qualification, but we lost. Now, we have a chance, but not everything is our hands. One thing is sure that we will go for the win against Ukraine's Ivan Odessa and will hope for a positive outcome from the other game
Janusz Kudyba, Dolnoslaski coach
Football is the greatest game because of such late dramas. In the space of 30 seconds we were close to defeat and then we won. Everything is good when it ends well. Both our games so far were dramatic, but we enjoy this. Now we are close to the final, but we must approach the last game against Aveiro in the right way. We know a draw will be enough, but that is always a dangerous approach and we must play as if we need the win.
AVEIRO AMA (POR) 2-0 IVAN ODESSA AMA (UKR)
José Sá, Aveiro coach
We faced one of the best teams in Group B and it was a nice game. We scored two goals in the best periods of our game. The Ukrainians also had their chances and I do not know what could have happened if they had scored a goal. Ivan Odessa are a nice team and even though they do not have any points now, I hope they will pick up points in their last game.
Serhiy Sukhoruchenko, Ivan Odessa coach
We wanted to win this game but in order to achieve victory you must score goals. Unfortunately, we failed to score, conceded two goals and lost the match. We knew what to expect from the Portuguese team as we analysed their previous game. Unfortunately, we failed to demonstrate our true abilities. We conceded a quick goal and then the second one broke us.
Nelson Rato, Aveiro midfielder
The journey to Bulgaria was long and exhausting and that is why we did not play well in the first game. Now we have already adapted to the conditions here and played much better. The game was very interesting.
