UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin visited the German Football Association's (DFB) brand-new campus in Frankfurt on Thursday, including a state-of-the-art academy designed to keep Germany at the forefront of football development programmes.
Bernd Neuendorf and Heike Ullrich, appointed as DFB president and DFB general secretary respectively last March, welcomed the UEFA president to the new home of German football on Kennedyallee. UEFA's high-level delegation also included general secretary Theodore Theodoridis and deputy general secretary Giorgio Marchetti.
Players, referees, coaches
The campus offers accommodation for players, referees and coaches attending DFB development programmes as well as indoor pitches and training facilities for all German national teams, including futsal.
The DFB's previous headquarters, also located in Frankfurt, at Stadtwald, will play a key role in preparing for UEFA EURO 2024, hosted by Germany.
