Real Sociedad de Fútbol have rewarded the Liga's youngest coach Jagoba Arrasate with a new two-year deal that ties the 35-year-old to the Basque club until June 2016.
Formerly Philippe Montanier's assistant with the Txuri-Urdin, Arrasate was promoted to the role of head coach following the Frenchman's departure to Stade Rennais FC last summer. One of the former La Real youth-team forward's first achievements in charge at the Anoeta was to guide last season's fourth-placed Liga finishers into the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time in ten years thanks to a play-off victory against Olympique Lyonnais.
La Real are currently seventh in the Spanish top-flight standings and once again challenging for a spot in Europe next term.
