Veteran Tukrish international goalkeeper Rüştü Reçber and midfielder Mehmet Yozgatlı have both agreed moves across Istanbul from Fenerbahçe SK to Beşiktaş JK.

Long servant
Rüştü, who played 17 times as Fenerbahçe won the Süper Lig title, made 295 league appearances for the club in two spells after originally moving there in 1994. The most capped Turkish international of all-time with 114 appearances, he has signed a three-year contract to join Beşiktaş, who finished second in the league last season.

Difficult decision
In a statement Rüştü said: "It wasn't an easy decision but significant things affected my decision. We goalkeepers know that goalkeeping is a job about judgements. I am not going to think about which people or who caused my decision. I love football and I want to play football not only for my club, but for the national team as well." Meanwhile, 28-year-old winger Yozgatlı has also signed a three-year deal for Beşiktaş after struggling to occupy a first-team place at Fenerbahçe.
