Veterans Patrick Kluivert and Michael Reiziger will leave PSV Eindhoven in the summer after being told their contracts will not be renewed by the Eredivisie champions.

Kluivert decision
The 30-year-old striker Kluivert and 34-year-old defender Reiziger, both former Dutch internationals, have been informed they will not be staying at the club by coach Ronald Koeman. The one-time AFC Ajax, AC Milan, FC Barcelona, Newcastle United FC and Valencia CF star Kluivert arrived in Eindhoven on a one-year deal last August. His campaign has been hampered by injury although he managed 16 league appearances and three goals. He said he hopes to play for two more seasons.

Reiziger released
Reiziger likewise began his career at Ajax and together with Kluivert won the UEFA Champions League in 1995 before playing abroad with Milan, Barcelona and Middlesbrough FC. He moved to the PSV Stadium two summers ago, subsequently making 24 Eredivisie appearances over two terms. After securing the championship in dramatic fashion on the last day of the season, PSV will start the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League campaign in the group stage.
