The 29-year-old joins the northern Spanish side as a free agent following the expiry of his contract at the Santiago Bernabéu in June. Never a first choice in the capital, FC Barcelona product Celades had to spend a season on loan at FC Girondins de Bordeaux in 2003/04 to secure first-team football.
