Summer moves
The Portuguese internationals will formally move to Russia on 1 July, with Maniche costing Dinamo €16m while fellow midfielder Costinha switches in a €4m deal. Porto have therefore made a sizeable profit on both players, who each joined on a free transfer.
Trophy-laden careers
Costinha arrived at Porto for the 2001/02 season after four years in France with AS Monaco FC. Over the following four campaigns he has helped the club to victory in the Champions League to add to the UEFA Cup won in 2002/03, as well as two SuperLiga titles and one Portuguese Cup. Maniche left SL Benfica for Porto in summer 2002 and was also part of the side that claimed those five trophies.
Portuguese contingent
In addition, Costinha and Maniche were ever-presents as Portugal reached the UEFA EURO 2004™ final on home soil. They link up with five other Portuguese players at Dinamo - Frechaut, Danny, Jorge Ribeiro (Maniche's brother), Luís Loureiro and Cícero, plus former Porto team-mate Derlei.
