Primera División new boys CD Numancia have appointed Francisco López Alfaro as their new coach.
New coach
The 41-year-old, whose most recent post saw him coaching Real Jaén CF, was announced as the new boss at the Los Pajaritos stadium at midday today. He replaces Enrique Hernández who guided the team to third place in the Segunda División with 76 points.
Assistant stays
As well as Jaén, Alfaro has also been a coach at Coria CF, CF Extremadura and UE Figueres. Numancia have appointed a new physical trainer, Óscar Antonio García Hermo, to work alongside their new coach, but Hernández's assistant, Juan José Carretero, will continue his role under the new régime.
