Mr Andreasen was first elected in 2010 and will now continue in the role until 2029. Upon confirmation of his election victory, the 65-year-old vowed to continue the association's focus on developing young talent.
The FSF has plenty to look forward to in 2025 as it prepares to host its first-ever UEFA final tournament. The Women's Under-17 EURO will be staged in Tórshavn and Klaksvík from 4-17 May. They were originally to host the finals in 2021, but that edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
