49th Ordinary UEFA Congress to take place in Belgrade on 3 April

The 49th Ordinary UEFA Congress will take place on Thursday 3 April 2025 at the Sava Congress Centar, Milentija Popovića 9, Belgrade 11000, Serbia.

The Congress will start at 09:30 local time and end at approximately 13:00 local time. It will be followed by a press conference with UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin.

Key items on the agenda of the 49th Ordinary UEFA Congress include:

• Elections:

- UEFA Executive Committee (eight members, including at least one female, for a four -year term and two members for a two-year term)

- FIFA Council (five members, including at least one female, for a four-year term)

• Ratification of the European Leagues representative on the UEFA Executive Committee (for a four-year term)

• Report of the UEFA President and Executive Committee and Report of the UEFA Administration 2023/24

• Financial report and financial statements for 2023/24; Budget for the 2025/26 financial year

• Update on UEFA’s committees

• Bestowal of honorary membership (if so decided by the Executive Committee before the Congress in accordance with Article 10 of the UEFA Statutes)

Media representatives interested in attending the 49th Ordinary UEFA Congress and subsequent press conference are requested to apply for accreditation by filling in the following application form by Friday 21 March at midday.

Due to space restrictions, only a limited number of seats will be available for media representatives in the hall itself. A media working area, equipped with Wi-Fi and live streaming of the Congress, will also be available on-site. The Congress will also be streamed live on UEFA.com.

Note to media:

Ahead of the Congress, the UEFA Executive Committee will meet on Wednesday 2 April in Belgrade, Serbia. No media activities are planned for this event. Decisions from said meeting will be communicated in a media release.
