Louzán, aged 57, was elected until 2028, having been president of the Royal Galician Football Federation since 2014.
Following his victory, Louzán placed emphasis on stabilising the federation as it looks ahead to co-hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2030. "After the election, we all return to being part of the same team, because it is time to work together and as a team," he said. "We need unity and cohesion. As on the field; only teams that work together achieve the best results."
