Frank Paauw took the reins in the Netherlands on 1 September, and visited UEFA HQ in Switzerland to discuss the game's domestic development, with the KNVB recently recognised for its new competition formats in youth football, as well as the Netherlands' impressive performance at UEFA EURO 2024.

Paauw is a vastly experienced administrator and previously served as police chief in both Rotterdam and Amsterdam. He also worked as a UEFA security officer and key adviser on safety matters for over 20 years at major European football events.
