Gkagatsis took up the role in July, at 41 years old becoming the youngest president in HFF history, and was joined by Domna Tsioni, the organisation’s new general secretary.

This year, Greece celebrates the 20th anniversary of victory at UEFA EURO 2004, and also hosted the UEFA Conference League final in May, which saw Olympiakos become the first Greek club in history to win a senior UEFA club competition, adding to the UEFA Youth League title they lifted in April.
