New interactive UEFA chatbot connects fans with stars, helping them to learn how to save a life.

Following the launch of the interactive online cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through get-trained.com, football fans can now learn how to save a life by chatting with Gareth Bale in an entertaining and educational way.

"I've installed an automatic external defibrillator (AED) in my home and bought one for every member of my family. A cardiac arrest can happen anywhere. In a stadium, at work but most often at home. Sometimes I take my AED to the golf course. You never know what might happen."

Launched by UEFA and the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the new chatbot is available through the messenger function of Instagram and Facebook.

Through the chatbot, fans will have an interactive, automated conversation with Gareth that teaches them the basics of CPR. For example, when they answer a question correctly, Gareth gives them a thumbs-up in a short video.

How does the online CPR course via Instagram and Facebook work?

Fans are also be able to chat and learn CPR with Erling Haaland and Lautaro Martínez, who are both supporting the "Get Trained, Save Life" campaign.

In launching the CPR training on social media, UEFA and the ERC want to teach people CPR by making use of the latest technology to engage with them. in an innovative way.
