Ļašenko, who has been LFF president since 2020, earnt the majority of votes in Friday’s elections and has promised to continue Latvia’s footballing development.
"I am grateful to everyone who once again placed their trust in me," he said. "This confirms that my first presidential term was productive, that we all worked together correctly and thought about the development of our football. Faced with many new challenges, we all, for example, dream of a new modern stadium in our country. I hope we can accomplish everything we set out to do."
