CEDB decision affecting the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches

Montenegro vs Serbia, Czechia vs Poland, Romania vs Belarus, UCL FC Internazionale Milano vs SL Benfica

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has taken the following decisions which would affect the attendance of supporters to UEFA matches:

Match: Montenegro - Serbia, 27 March 2023 (European Championship 2024)

Football Association of Montenegro

- To fine the Football Association of Montenegro €20,000 and to order the partial closure of the Football Association of Montenegro’s stadium (which shall consist of at least 2,000 seats) during the next (1) UEFA competition match it plays as host association, for discriminatory behaviour.

- To fine the Football Association of Montenegro €4,500 for lighting of fireworks.

- To fine the Football Association of Montenegro €8,000 for blocking of public passageways.

- To fine the Football Association of Montenegro €15,000 for locked emergency gates.

Football Association of Serbia

- To combine disciplinary cases 36890 and 36921 and issue one comprehensive decision in accordance with Article 41(6) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations.

- To order the enforcement of the suspended disciplinary measure imposed by the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body in its decision dated 13 July 2022, for the discriminatory behaviour of its supporters (i.e. to order the Football Association of Serbia to play the second match as host association behind closed doors, which was subject to a probationary period of two (2) years, for the racist behaviour of its supporters).

- To fine the Football Association of Serbia €50,000, to order the Football Association of Serbia to play one (1) additional match as host association behind closed doors and to ban the Football Association of Serbia from selling tickets to away supporters for its next (1) match, for the discriminatory behaviour of its supporters.

- To fine the Football Association of Serbia €3,000 for lighting of fireworks.

Match: Czechia - Poland, 24 March 2023 (European Championship 2024)

- To fine the Polish Football Association €10,000 and to order the partial closure of Polish Football Association stadium, during the next (1) UEFA competition match in which the Polish Football Association would play as the host association, for the racist behaviour of its supporters. The Polish Football Association shall inform prior to the match, the sector(s) to be closed, which shall consist of at least 2,000 seats. Said partial stadium closure is suspended during a probationary period of two (2) years, starting from the date of the present decision.

- To fine the Polish Football Association €8,000 for lighting of fireworks.

Match: Romania - Belarus, 28 March 2023 (European Championship 2024)

- To fine the Romanian Football Federation €15,000 and to order the partial closure of the Romanian Football Federation stadium, during the next (1) UEFA competition match in which the Romanian Football Federation would play as the host association, for the discriminatory behaviour of its supporters. The Romanian Football Federation shall inform prior to the match, the sector(s) to be closed, which shall consist of at least 2,000 seats.

- To fine the Romanian Football Federation €2,500 for lighting of fireworks.

Match: FC Internazionale Milano (ITA) - SL Benfica (POR), 19 April 2023 (2022/23 UEFA Champions League)

- To fine SL Benfica €35,000 and to ban SL Benfica from selling tickets to its away-supporters for its next (1) UEFA competition match, for lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects.
