Proceedings opened against OGC Nice and 1. FC Köln

Disciplinary proceedings have been instigated in accordance with Article 55 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR) following the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage match between OGC Nice and 1. FC Köln (1-1) played on 8 September 2022 in France.

Charges against OGC Nice:

- Throwing of objects - Art. 16(2)(b) DR

- Lighting of fireworks - Art. 16(2)(c) DR

- Crowd disturbances - Art. 16(2)(h) DR

- Identification of persons responsible – Art. 7.01(a) & (b) UEFA Safety and Security Regulations (SSR)

- Security personnel – Art. 32.01 & 32.02 SSR

- Screening and searching of spectators – Art. 33.01 & 33.02 SSR

- Limitation of spectator movement – Art. 37.01 SSR

- Blocking of public passageways - Art. 38 SSR

Charges against 1. FC Köln:

- Throwing of objects, Art. 16(2)(b) DR

- Lighting of fireworks, Art. 16(2)(c) DR

- Crowd disturbances, Art. 16(2)(h) DR

The UEFA disciplinary bodies will decide on the matter in due course.
