The key visual for the 2023 UEFA Europa League final in Budapest at Puskás Aréna has been designed around the ‘energy wave’ concept of the UEFA Europa League, which captures the edgy and dynamic nature of the competition. Combined with some of the Hungarian capital’s most famous landmarks, the key visual captures the unique character of the city with the energy that the 2023 Europa League final will bring.
The UEFA Europa League trophy sits at the heart of the brand identity. The Hungarian Parliament Building forms the central backdrop representing the host city, flanked by the iconic lion statues on Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion.
The host city logo draws upon the rich history of the city through a bold and contemporary style. The wordmark is inspired by the city being originally comprised of various settlements on both sides of the Danube River before it became Budapest as we know it today.
The 2023 UEFA Europa League final will be the second UEFA final to take place at Puskás Aréna, which previously hosted the 2020 UEFA Super Cup. The home of the Hungarian national team also staged four games at UEFA EURO 2020.
The wordmark for the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League final in Prague at Eden Arena draws inspiration from the rich and unique typography found across the Czech capital including on the Old Town Hall and city gates.
Like Puskás Aréna, Eden Arena will host its second UEFA final after hosting the UEFA Super Cup in 2013.
