CEDB: 1. FC Union Berlin v Maccabi Haifa FC

Following an investigation conducted by a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector regarding the incidents that occurred during the UEFA Europa Conference League match between 1. FC Union Berlin vs. Maccabi Haifa FC at Olympiastadion, Berlin, and the subsequent disciplinary proceedings opened against 1. FC Union Berlin, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has today taken the following decision:

-To order a partial stadium closure of the 1. FC Union Berlin stadium (i.e. in sectors 13 and 14 where the home supporters are seated) during the next UEFA club competition match in which 1. FC Union Berlin will play as host club, for the racist behaviour of its supporters.

-To order 1. FC Union Berlin to implement the following directive in the next UEFA competition match in which it will play as host club: to display a banner with the wording “#NoToRacism”, with the UEFA logo on it, in the relevant closed sectors.
