The UEFA Appeals Body has announced today the following decisions:
Match: UEFA Europa League group stage match between AS Roma and BSC Young Boys (3-1), played on 3 December 2020 in Italy
AB Decision:
The appeal lodged by BSC Young Boys is rejected. Consequently, the suspension of BSC Young Boys player, Mr. Camara Mohamed Ali, for a total of three (3) UEFA club competition matches for which he would be otherwise eligible, for assaulting another player, as decided by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body of 19 January 2021, is confirmed.
Match: UEFA Europa League group stage match between BSC Young Boys and CFR 1907 Cluj (2-1), played on 10 December 2020 in Switzerland
AB Decision:
The appeal lodged by BSC Young Boys is dismissed. Consequently, the suspension of BSC Young Boys player, Mr. Nsame Jean-Pierre Junior, for a total of two (2) UEFA club competition matches for which he would be otherwise eligible, for rough play, as decided by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body of 19 January 2021, is confirmed.
Match: UEFA Europa League group stage match between AC Sparta Praha and AC Milan (0-1), played on 10 December 2020 in the Czech Republic.
AB Decision:
The appeal lodged by AC Sparta Praha is upheld. Consequently, the suspension of AC Sparta Praha player, Mr. Dominik Plechatý, for two (2) UEFA club competition matches for which he would otherwise be eligible, for rough play, as decided by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body of 19 January 2021, is reduced to one (1) UEFA club competition match.
Match: UEFA Champions League group stage match between Chelsea FC and FC Krasnodar (1-1), played on 8 December 2020 in England.
AB Decision:
The appeal lodged by FC Krasnodar is dismissed. Consequently, the following decision taken by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) of 19 January 2021 is confirmed: to fine FC Krasnodar €15,000 for being responsible of the late kick-off and to suspend FC Krasnodar coach, Mr. Murad Musaev, for one (1) UEFA club competition match in which he would otherwise participate, for being responsible for the late kick-off, said suspension being deferred for a probationary period of one (1) year, starting from the date of the CEDB decision.
Match: UEFA Europa League group stage match between CSKA Moskva and Feyenoord (0-0), played on 26 November 2020 in Russia.
AB Decision:
The appeal lodged by PFC CSKA Moskva is upheld. Consequently, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body’s decision of 19 January 2021 is replaced with the following decision: to fine PFC CSKA Moskva €10,000 for provocative chants of an offensive nature by its supporters.
