Pierre François was a barrister in Liège, Belgium, for 25 years (1978–2002), specialising in corporate law and litigation related to sport and football in particular.
He has been a member of the HEC academic team (Liège University) for more than 20 years. He was the CEO of Standard de Liège for ten years (2003–2012) and was the CEO of the Belgian Pro League for seven years (2015–2022). Since June 2023, he has been the CEO of RFC Liège.
Pierre François joined the Appeals Body in 2020.
