Russian Premier League side FC Shinnik Yaroslavl have completed the signings of PFC CSKA Moskva’s Vyacheslav Daev and Robert Popov from FK Belasica GC.
International experience
Popov, a 22-year-old midfield player, becomes the third F.Y.R. Macedonia international to move to Russia, joining Igor Mitreski and Goran Maznov, who are both at FC Spartak Moskva. Popov has signed a three-year contract with his new club.
Protracted negotiations
After lengthy negotiations, 30-year-old defender and former Russian international Daev has also completed his move to Shinnik. Daev, whose previous clubs include FC Torpedo Moskva, has signed a two-year deal at Shinnik.
Goalscoring form
Another addition to Shinnik’s squad is Uzbekistani striker Viktor Karpenko, who returns to the club following a successful loan spell at FC Lokomotiv Chita, where he scored 14 goals in 30 matches.
