Rade Vesovic has resigned as coach of Yugoslavia's Prva Savezna Liga side FK Rudar Pljevlja after a disappointing start to the season.
Milojevic in
The coach has seen his side rooted to the bottom after just one draw in their opening games. Goran Milojevic, the former FK Crvena Zvezda and FK Partizan midfield player, has replaced Vesovic, who took over in June.
Best interest
"I came to Rudar to win points and lead the club to the top of the table," Vesovic said. "After four rounds we have just one point and a bad atmosphere. I have resigned in the best interests of the club."
Training change
Milojevic is confident he can turn things around. "I have studied the potential Plevlja have and I find it satisfactory," he said. "We will change the training and playing routine and in a short while we will start winning."
President resigned
Rudar president Ratomir Stanic has also resigned, saying he felt responsible for the club's poor performance. The new president is local businessman Mirko Bjekovic.
